A three-year-old lioness - who was rescued from the war in Ukraine and brought to an animal sanctuary in Kent - has taken her first steps outside. Yuna was traumatised when she first arrived but is now doing much better.

Three rescued lions from Ukraine have made it to Belgium and are now in quarantine for 40 days. Lira, Vanda and Amani will be coming to The Big Cat Sanctuary in November 🦁

Three lionesses, named Vanda, Amani & Lira, who were rescued from war-torn Ukraine have arrived in Belgium to begin a month-long quarantine before they’ll head to a new home in the UK at a Sanctuary in Kent. Nick Dixon reports.
