Day 2 of the Campus Journalism Clinic at University of Lagos kicked off with a recap session, where participants shared key takeaways from Day 1. A student, Balogun Iretomiwa, shared that the session on investigative journalism helped her understand the difference between public interest


In Busola Ajibola's session on gender-transformative storytelling, students learned about gender stereotypes and their impact on media narratives. She explained how inclusive storytelling helps reflect the lived realities of diverse communities more accurately and meaningfully.


Today, Wemimo Adewuni covered broadcast journalism, teaching techniques for generating story ideas, broadcast prep, and live interviews. In this session, students practiced these techniques by developing story ideas and drafting interview questions. #NextGen #CampusReporter



Media Production Associate at Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development, Gbolahan Ogunsolu, took students through essential tools and skills for effective multimedia reporting. He also gave a practical demonstration on using video and design tools to create engaging visual stories with mobile devices. #NextGen


It’s a wrap for the two-day Campus Journalism Clinic at University of Lagos. In the last session of the day, Iretomiwa Tayo Dele-Yusuff took the participants through the process of sending stories for publication on campusreporter.africa, and spoke on further mentorship and training opportunities


From imparting knowledge to building hands-on skills and providing guidance, our time with 50 campus journalists at University of Lagos over the past two days was nothing short of amazing.
