Dolphins LBs Jaelan Phillips & Bradley Chubb have practiced in most OTA sessions coming off serious injuries, per HC Mike McDaniel. Top 2 edge rushers doing well in recovery. Phillips tore his ACL in October. Chubb missed 2024 season after late 2023 multi-ligament knee injury.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said “zero has changed” with CB Jalen Ramsey situation. He’s focused on coaching guys on the field. Both sides have decided to part ways & seek a trade. He won’t be at OTAs. June 1 is next deadline to watch as Dolphins cap hit with trade lessens a lot.

Dolphins OTA 2 today: Physical intense session even with no pads. Bradley Chubb was disruptive & very visible. Didn’t spot Jalen Ramsey, Jonnu Smith, Zach Sieler at practice. Workouts are voluntary. Tyreek Hill, Jaelan Phillips did individual practice & workout with trainers.

Tyreek Hill says he out to prove to teammates he’s still “one of them ones” & someone they can depend on. He says divorce has been tough. He added church & therapy. He says he’s worked on increasing endurance — weighs 183 pounds down 14 pounds back to comfortable playing weight.

Tyreek Hill says he’s recovering well from wrist surgery. He’s had issues with both wrists but mainly right one he has protective brace on. Hill says he was hesitant to get surgery but happy he did it. He says he has a lot to prove and is aiming for 2K receiving yards again.

Tyreek Hill says he would try for 2028 Olympics but he’d prefer to do it in track rather than flag football. He says he has a “warm up” 100M race planned June 13 in Cali (aiming for 10-flat) then wants to face Noah Lyles. He’s back focused on speed & endurance this offseason.

Tyreek Hill said he doesn’t feel he deserves to be a team captain again after actions in rough end of 2024 and offseason. His main focus is proving to his teammates they can trust him and increasing reliability/durability on field. Common key phrase: prove it.

It’s just OTAs but Tua Tagovailoa to Jaylen Waddle connection looked strong today one real nice deep TD today. No Tyreek Hill in team drills for much of offseason as he recovers from wrist surgery means more time for Tua & Waddle to get in perfect sync. Good start today.

Bradley Chubb looked like himself out there on field for Dolphins today including a sack that got both offense & defense amped up. Chubb missed 2024 season with multi-ligament but says he’s 95-99% football body wise & rest will just come with game reps.

Sean McVay said he wouldn’t close the door on the Rams trading for Jalen Ramsey, but said “there hasn't been any meaningful, tangible dialogue as of late.” “But that can always change pretty quickly, as you know,” McVay said.
