Today fast food workers from across the region are in Oakland to speak out in support of CalAccount.

We need a banking option we can trust. If we had CalAccount we'd be saving up hundreds of dollars a year in fees.

The CalAccount Oakland Town Hall is underway! Labor leaders and community leaders convened to share their testimony on unfair banking practices that have harmed California's working families.

At the state level, California Public Banking Alliance SEIU California & Rise Economy have been championing the #CalAccount program, CalAccount, that would help people like Julia Saravia who know the burden of our current system.
