What the relief efforts need right now is coordination.

Adopt a family to help rebuild, immediate relief is necessary now but in the next coming months we’re going to need a more in depth approach.

Help is needed now. Awareness is needed now. We are at the height of visibility following Hurricane Melissa. Now is the time to help, do not delay your efforts to next month when Kingston and lesser affected parishes start to experience the inevitable food shortage.

To add: support local businesses as much as possible, stimulate the local economy. Food and water and building materials from foreign nice but there is risk of bottle neck, where things are left at the ports because there is no path to distribute effectively.
