I was raised, like many of us are- to see any Black man’s rejection of a Black partner as a rejection of Blackness; w/Black gay men- as a rejection of me. Visible Black gay men spewing racist rhetoric did not help.But not everyone who has a nonBlk partner is on that agenda

May we co-create spaces that require less courage, fire, hardening, and warrior mode. May ease, breath, and rest come for each of us. We’re worthy.
