Call It Out The most telling point is that when the march was rerouted the Apprentice Boys refused to reroute and spent their time in standoff with the police rather than attend their service of remembrance. It speaks volumes about the real purpose of their march - to pass a Catholic Church!

Henriklubo STV News Susan Aitken Call It Out If this was about Remembrance or honoring their culture, Glasgow has parkland enough. Groups opposed to Muslims or Jews wouldn't be allowed near a mosque or synagogue. Forget the "king's highway" nonsense - it's about intimidation & triumphalism & has no place in the 21st century

Yesterday's actions by Greater Manchester Police must not go unanswered. There is distressing footage showing extreme over-policing of young Romany and Irish Traveller children, who were violently forced onto trains and subjected to dispersal orders. (1)

Today's St Patrick's Day parade through Glasgow was a genuinely historic moment. It was a happy joyful celebration of our National Day and our national saint. The smiles of the young and the not-so-young, the clear evidence of the strength of our language, sport, music

What a day for the Irish in Glasgow. A wonderful event, a great turnout and a celebration of everything that is great about our community. Well done to the organisers! #stPatricksDay2025
