The dangerous weight-cuts and rehydration clauses become a little darker and more intense as Chris Eubank Jr fails to make the stipulated weight of 160 pounds against Conor Benn. He faces another rehydration weigh-in tomorrow which compromises his recovery theguardian.com/sport/2025/apr…

Another day swimming the River Tay. 14km, Logierait to Dunkeld. Low water levels meant an occasional bumpy ride with a few walks. Sensational conditions, I was overdressed in my surf wetsuit! #TayInAYear

Please retweet if you think Barclays Football Barclays UK should make a donation to our charity partner Sporting Memories in lieu of ‘borrowing’ our idea and format and seemingly some of the photos you sent to us without politely asking first.

Poor step to use AI voice on ScotRail If we're going to use technology, use it to finally get bike tickets on the app, not in-person paper ones. It's rural discrimination if you don't have a ticket machine or office. PS, can anyone confirm if the AI says 'Mallaig' correctly?

This just in from Scottish Government "Ministers have decided not to pursue a proposal to designate Galloway and Ayrshire as a National Park. Rural Affairs Secretary Mairi Gougeon confirmed that opposition to the nomination and the Reporter’s recommendations against it ...."

Not surprised. AI lies constantly. I recently used it to get ideas/format for a short workshop. It just invented 2 fake #Gàidhlig music songs/videos and even gave fake links. At least it didn't double down when I called it out.

Ok ScotRail please help me out! I need to go: Pit-Inv without bike, then return with bike. Bike space available on train. Ok. App says I cannot collect ticket at Pit. I can in Inv but won't have the ticket to get there!! No point buying a single as more ££ than return. Help?

Calum Maclean (@caldamac) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Thanks, got my tickets as the office was open. Just to confirm ScotRail, the below information is incorrect, there is NO machine to collect pre-purchased tickets outside of office hours. Bike reservation/tickets SHOULD be possible on the app & not require paper ticket in 2025 💻

Penniless and homeless, Raynor and Moth Winn found fame with The Salt Path: the story of their 630-mile walk to salvation. It became a global bestseller and was adapted into a major film. But we can reveal it wasn’t the whole truth. Chloe Hadjimatheou Read: bit.ly/3GtJXsy

I am part of #TheThamesSwimAgainst Sewage - a nonstop relay down the Thames. Taking the issue of sewage pollution right to Parliament at Westminster. 4 pairs of swimmers, we are about to start the 3 rotation (each) now. Surfers Against Sewage

A surf competition in Cornwall has been cancelled because South West Water released untreated sewage into the sea. Why do we let companies do that?
