Today, we talked about the importance of nests and how they can protect birds from predators. The second graders were challenged to create a nest in a tree! Then, they used their knowledge of opinions to state why their design was the best for a peep! #OakFlatProud #BSSDProud

A book we read this week was about the history behind a Luau in Hawaii! We learned about hula and how they cook their food in the ground! I was so excited to share my leis and Luau pictures from my trip to Hawaii! We even had some time to learn how to hula dance! #OakFlatProud
