I did not have a military coup d'etat and suspension of democracy in South Korea on my 2024 bingo card. This is a hugely terrifying power play by Yoon, who is clearly taking a lead out of the playbooks of Park Chung-hee and Chun Doo-hwan. This is terribly frightening

The K-pop inspired “Impeachment” light stick seen outside the National Assembly in Seoul hours before the vote to impeach President Yoon for his botched martial law.

This is a remarkable political statement from IU. In fact, it's almost unprecedented - K-pop stars almost never make explicit political stances, given the industry's strict control over artists' public images and positions.
