Have had an absolute blast spending the last 3 weeks visiting the Lien Lab @ NYCU in Taiwan, learning electrophysiology from some of the masters of the art! Will miss the place, the people, and (most of all?) my beloved rig 🫶

First paper from my PhD is now out in eLife! elifesciences.org/articles/95849 We show that a gradual extinction protocol is able to minimise fear relapse. We discuss this in terms of latent state models and identify a key role for prediction error in organising memory!

The Greater Baltimore SfN chapter meeting last week was very cool for many reasons, but the fact it was held at Westminster Hall (the final resting place of Edgar Allen Poe!) may top the list
