We are saddened to learn that artist Rutherford Chang has passed away. In 2004, Chang proposed a spectacular poster for our “Average” issue: The New York Times’s front page with every section’s words cut out (by hand!) and reordered alphabetically. cabinetmagazine.org/issues/15/chan…
