A kind and compassionate leader. Thank you for your long service. I had the honor to meet with Vice President Walter Mondale and chatted with him. It was once in a lifetime opportunity for me. RIP Fritz.

Another fantastic day door-knocking in Bloomington. AFSCME members showed up, and we're helping to GOTV for AFSCME champions running for Bloomington City Council. We were also joined by Congressman Dean Phillips, who got the volunteers fired up and ready to go.

The passage of this bill will improve quality of life for all of us – everyone who drives on our roads, who rides public transit, who buys goods that pass through our ports, who depends on clean drinking water and a reliable power grid. afsc.me/3bJ3PF6

President Lee Saunders just returned from the White House lawn where he participated in the signing ceremony for the infrastructure bill. This new law makes historic investments in infrastructure and will create jobs for public service workers all over this nation.

When President Donald J. Trump Joe Biden took office, COVID cases were soaring. Millions of Americans had lost their jobs. Today, we are diminishing COVID’s impact on our lives through science. America is hiring again. And best of all, working people have more power than ever... 1/7

Minnesotans deserve time to care for themselves and family members, whether it’s for a new baby, an unexpected illness, or an aging parent. Join us in urging the #MNLeg to pass #PaidLeaveMN and support Minnesota’s working families across race, class and@geography.
