Another paper published from my PhD days! This was a little side project but we were suprised to see just how much of a significant effect even mild non-clinical inflammtion had on red blood cells! mdpi.com/1422-0067/25/1…

Why should we care? Fragile red blood cells and the toxic products they carry could become a therapeutic target in certain inflammatory diseases (acute or chronic) like #sepsis or #MS
