Indiana’s 2026 football recruiting class is going to be special. You could tell last June, and now it’s manifesting.

Top-500 prospect in the 2026 class (No. 35 CB). Second-highest rated in Indiana's class. 3 of Indiana's 6 current commitments are from the top-500, with another possibly joining in a couple days. For reference, 5 of the 23 signings in IU's 2022 class were in the top-500.

No. 31 QB in the 2026 class, out of Ohio. A rising 6-foot-5 prospect who had committed to App State. Indiana has a deep QB room right now. Pulling anyone higher than this would be tough for this class, but he's a really solid prospect.

A coach once told me that there are recruits who love football and then there are recruits who love being recruited. Might be entirely irrelevant here, but it becomes obvious later in their careers.
