Pay attention to the way people either help you find peace, help protect that peace, or use their energy to strip peace out of your life.

If you just stop for a moment, if you just pause for a damn moment, you can hear the truth, you can see the truth, and that truth is the people who compromise the moments where you were at peace or happy; those people do not care about you.

I think sometimes people take my kindness for weakness; they want to feel strong, and they choose to impose their will to get a sense of the control they lack in their everyday lives .
