Here's a fresh approach to the neobank business model aimed at financial inclusion from Bronx Financial Access Coalition and @lespeoplesfcu. Wrap a van in your brand, offer in-person financial services in working class neighborhoods and do it all with a licensed credit union under the hood.

This morning the Bronx Financial Access Coalition and LES PEOPLE'S FCU continued our tour of closed bank branches on Southern Blvd with Assemblyman Kenny Burgos. Originally a #DollarSavings branch, Popular Bank closed this branch in 2020. Now it’s a grocery store and the neighborhood has one fewer branch.
As June comes to a close and we roll right into summer ☀️we reflect on a successful June, from our Mobile Branch Dates🚐💨 to our "Understanding Credit & Debt workshop" with Webster Bank. (P.S. Spanish workshop coming soon!) We are all excited to see what July holds in store!
