Child 2 is obsessed with his bike now... We had two "adventures" yesterday, the second was out to see the trains and back across the fields. just short of 10km for the day for his little legs 💪😁🚴

Yeah But Cyclists Why risk wobbling 30 minutes home on the scooter when you can take the 2 tonne SUV and get home twice as fast! 1/2 the chance for you to get caught and face consequences. 100x the consequences for everyone else on the road if you crash.

1/ You didn't buy the road when you bought your house. 2/ Controlled Parking is what enables you to park relatively close to your home. 3/ That you care more about 67p a week to manage parking than about prams and wheelchairs being unable to use local pavements speaks volumes.

Missy UK dave robertson Linny🇬🇧 Cyclists in races are id by numbers on their backs, they should have a cyclist license & that is the number they will have on their cyclist clothes front and back. They should have to pay for training for a cyclist license and road tax for any road worthy cycle.

People choose driving a lot of the time because we've spent decades and poured billions of pounds into making it the most convenient transport mode, to the detriment of all other modes. We are slowly but surely realising this and correcting our course.

Police force admits "very valid concerns" with how it deals with cyclists' reports of dangerous driving, as recruitment now underway to fill "shortage in resources" that has seen Notice of Intended Prosecution "not able to be sent" road.cc/310673

Those are most likely hard-working drivers that have trained for a licence and paid thousands of pounds in road tax and they've just made an innocent mistake 🤷‍♀️

More than half. The average walking speed is about 5km/h and my daily average cycling speed is usually the best part of 20km/h. My journey to work is 12 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bike. Or an hour if I walk.

Correction: Vehicle Excise Duty will soon be applied to hybrid and electric vehicles, which were previously zero-rated, for the first time. Many other motor vehicles will remain exempt, and VED will also still not apply to vehicles which are not mechanically propelled.
