We enjoyed observational painting today. The children looked closely at the sunflowers, naming the parts and we also noticed how bees were landing on them, leading to discussions about pollen. We thought about the colours we needed to use and created some amazing representations.

We’ve enjoyed a conker—tastic day of fun! We’ve been counting conkers, matching them to the numeral and sorting them depending on whether they’re round or flat. Some were subjected to the roll test down a chute!
