Thunder freezing rain?!

When I think about the possibility of a global economic catastrophe, I mostly fixate on what I might have to do for coffee.

We spent a decent chunk of money for my son to be in this soccer league. Judging by his hustle, his purpose in signing up was just to watch some soccer games up really close.

I usually wear a zip hoodie or a cardigan, today was warm. My students were shook. I even got a “You look like an average white guy.” The only thing that saved me were my coffee mug patterned socks. I’ve set a high bar, accessories wise, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

My class was a challenge for the substitute yesterday. Today, my sinuses are making my eyes watery. I had a very somber, slow talk with them this morning about their behavior, as I dabbed my wet eyes. You gotta use whatever tools we’re given. They are perfect today. 😎
