One banal but extremely annoying LA thing is street facing sidewalk entrances of businesses always being locked in favor of the parking lot entrance.

Omg I just realized this is why Rapid buses are more pleasant to be on, more bench seating! Ok I’m done lol

Standing in the bus aisles in the middle of a crowded bus is awkward for everybody so to avoid that people tend to huddle by the entrance and exit and nobody wins Metro Los Angeles

I wish Metro Los Angeles buses had more bench style seating. More standing room, more room for mobility devices, strollers etc. glad the heavy rail trains are getting more of that style

I’m willing to bet that if you polled actual transit riders in LA if they preferred a real investment in more reliable service OR just more police, the majority of people would choose the former.

23 fatal car crashes along small sliver of the Pacific Coast Highway since 2018. Locals complain about unsafe conditions but no response from leaders.

Now add 4 more deaths with the Pepperdine students. Tragic malpractice.

These tragedies are not going to stop with signage, rumble strips, and other ticky tack stuff.

They’re going to stop when we stop making PCH just about cars: build sidewalks, add bike lanes, narrow travel lanes — actually change the built environment. Caltrans District 7

Sad that it’s not open 24/7 like it was pre Covid … this place was always an INSTITUTION for my family and then with friends as I got older

Almost 50 percent of taxes go to the police and we get this sht. People who use mobile devices and canes or strollers are very often forgotten about.
