@burley_zack TABOR is the only barrier to explosive growth of tax and spend politics. If TABOR is repealed, the democratic super-majority will be free to tax/fund every progressive wet dream.

@burley_zack EV subsidies are pretty much just subsidies for wealthy people. We have some perverse incentives in this country.

@burley_zack Most of that was small investors, IE people with 1-5 investment properties (doctors, thifty teachers with tenure, homeowners who know how to leverage their existing assets, etc), not giant corporations

@burley_zack How about we stop subsidizing all of it and privatize the roads and infrastructure. You'd never see trains and bike lanes go up so fast

@burley_zack As someone who regularly bikes to work, I’d rather they spend the money on better biking infrastructure than as a rebate check to me that I will forget to cash.

@burley_zack Ds and Rs unequivocally agree that their duty is first and foremost to protect and grow capital. It’s a myth perpetuated by the the two party system that they don’t serve the same extact interests.
