#NewMember | The CIDP welcomes Sarah-Myriam Martin-Brûlé, Professor at Bishop’s University and Non-Resident Fellow at the International Peace Institute, who will assume a fellowship position. Her research interests include peacekeeping, intelligence, and dis/mis/malinformation.

Last week students participated in an Ottawa trip where they attended Question Period at the House, toured the Senate & Rideau Hall & much more. Special thanks to Minister Bibeau’s office, to the many Bishop’s alumni who made time for students and to Dr. Jacob Robbins-Kanter for organizing!

A proud moment for our department as Dr. Martin-Brûlé was chosen to moderate a panel on Canada's new defence policy at the Conseil des Relations Internationales de Montréal. It featured Canada's Minister of Defense Bill Blair and Minister of Industry François-Phillipe Champagne.

We hosted a lively panel discussion this week on the U.S. election, featuring professors Gordon Barker, Heather McKeen-Edwards, Jacob Robbins-Kanter, and Daniel Troup. Thanks to all who attended!
