Last two days were examining variety of geological features on Milos focussing on the volcanology and low and High Sulphidation Epithermal mineralisation systems British Geological Survey in Milos. Looking forward to see gold and silver mineralisation tomorrow.

Three localities with different mineralisation systems: gold and silver in Profitis Ilias and manganese deposits in Vani, formed in volcano-sedimentary basin, which is underlain by dacitic domes with the British Geological Survey team. We also looked mineralised andesitic breccia.

Looking whether faulting triggers the mineralisation of high-tech elements at Vani in Milos with PhD DocBGS PhD Post Graduate Research students and industry from LKAB from Sweden British Geological Survey. Remapped the area to assess the economic viability of this deposit and mineralisation sequence.

Manganese deposit with late stage barite veining, may indicate fluid mixing from different sources possibly of hydrothermal and marine. Excellent team work from DocBGS PhD Post Graduate Research British Geological Survey

Using Faro Focus Laser Scanner in the field with great success of modelling mineralised veins in Vani-Milos with DocBGS PhD Post Graduate Research as part of British Geological Survey and Natural Environment Research Council training program. Thanks Steve Grebby who helped us and processed the data- TEAM VANI.

Our last day in Milos Greece DocBGS PhD Post Graduate Research Natural Environment Research Council British Geological Survey we visited a complicated high sulphidation epithermal deposit at Thiorichia.

A fantastic mineral exploration training. Many thanks to Jon Naden and Richard Herrington. Thanks to British Geological Survey team for your help to prepare our business case studies in mineral exploration. Thanks to Natural Environment Research Council for making this unique experience

Started with great careers showcase and student early career programSociety of Economic Geologists SEG Conference 2023. Looking forward to join career speed-dating, mentoring program and the CV workshop @SocietyEconGeol .

Great session on supply chain issues, managing and benefitting from ESG challenges followed by presidential address Society of Economic Geologists .

I will be presenting methods used for isotopic composition and concentrations of C and N in fluid inclusions of carbonatites from Loch Borralan #SIMSUG2024 British Geological Survey Nottingham. It was a great day with lots of discussion on both stable isotope methods & innovation.

A great day with lots of discussion at #SIMSUG2024, hosted by British Geological Survey Keyworth. I presented myself some of our stable isotopes work from Loch Borralan. It was great seeing friends from EarthSciences UCL and The Open University

An excellent day discussed lots of application science #SIMSUG2024. It was amazing to see how stable isotopes can resolve various scientific problems. Many thanks to British Geological Survey team for organising this fantastic conference, and it was great to receive student prize.

Heading to attend SEG 2024 Conference: Sustainable Mineral Exploration and Development September 27-30, 2024 Windhoek, Namibia. Looking forward seeing old friends and colleagues. Thanks to Society of Economic Geologists for organising this exiting event.

Kicking off with first session on student and early career. Discussing changing possibilities to opportunities, evaluate one's own abilities (plus limits), barriers/fears and best way is to learn through your own mistakes Society of Economic Geologists at #SEG2024 Namibia

#SEG2024 is one of the best conferences Society of Economic Geologists I’ve ever attended. Opened with performance African cultural diversity dance, so beautiful, I really enjoyed. To highlight geoscience capacity building for the future - the African perspective.

Very interesting talk on Mitigating the streetlight effect: important step in understanding the copperbelt David Selley Society of Economic Geologists #SEG2024 Namibia

Great talk on using Mg-carbonates, kyanite and immobile elements as pathfinders for technology metals in the Central African Copperbelt by Anna Bidgood at #SEG2024 Society of Economic Geologists

#SEG 2024 conference: sustainable mineral exploration and development Windhoek, Namibia final day with short trip around Windhoek. Thanks to Society of Economic Geologists for organising such a wonderful event and looking forward for SEG2025
