We had some helpers along to the Wee Forest today from BucksburnAcademy PC they worked together with Miss Blackman and Room 10 to help weed around the trees 🌲 🌳

Fantastic evening celebrating the successes of the 32 pupils who completed their Bronze and 3 who completed their Silver DofE award in 2022. Some inspirational stories. Huge well done to all! DofE Scotland #scriptforsuccess

The end product of S1 IDL's driving question of: "How can we create a public display which helps people in Bucksburn feel pride about their community?" will be on display Bucksburn Library throughout the October holidays. Some amazing pieces of work! #pbl #scriptforsuccess

We are very lucky to have had Pamela Cumming from UoA Business School in to our S3 IDL classes. They are buzzing to get started on their @JTS_FairTrade rice challenge. Thank you!

Thank you @BucksburnAcad for an amazing #YPI launch this morning. Great to hear from Four Pillars and the winning YPI team from last year who shared top tips for their peers. Wonderful to see so many excited S2 students #generationchange #oracy

Both Wider Achievement staff have had a blast with S2 groups The Outward Bound Trust Loch Eil this week. Fantastic experience as always with everyone taking something different away from the trip. #scriptforsuccess #resilience #teamwork #confidence

Some fantastic engagement with local charities this week from our S2 pupils as part of their YPI Scotland. Pupils have been developing their oracy skills and finding out more about the work and impact of the charities through Google meets; phonecalls and face to face meetings.

Fantastic work from our S2 Wider Achievement classes at the YPI final today. The judges had a tough decision to make with great presentations showing passion, knowledge and oracy skills. Very well deserved win for Tasha, Isla and Rachael who secured £3000 for Touch of Love Outreach (TOL)
