Imagine, Indian military brutality went from this to obeying to a mercantile political leadership telling it not to engage (and getting shot down in the process).

Every airport by law must have BIS standard weighs in the check-in hall, as well as a dharam-kanta. Passengers must have the ability to verify accurate weighing. If I'm made to pay thousands of rupees per kilo, I deserve accurate weighing, the queue behind me can wait.

Historically, India made its most bold choices in defence acquisitions when under US sanctions. Who knows, these sanctions have the same effect as breaking CAATSA, so India goes ahead with Su-57, S-500, Armata, and many other systems.

If anything, events of last few days show India’s already a Tier1 factor in global calculations. Russians panicking if India cuts oil imports, their army won’t reach Dnieper. (no other importer to scoop 2mil barrels) neocons panicking if India doesn’t cut ties, Putin will win

Yeah, this is true. EU heavyweights like France and Germany want Ireland's corporate tax money-pot gone. The Irish government wanted to counteract this by trying to build "a real economy." The "double Irish with a Dutch" is already gone. So all those American multinationals

Nobody wants to visit America for tourism, not even people from Visa-Waiver Program countries. They're instead visiting the EU and China. Lots to see.

Both the "Indian government official" who made these statements, and his political boss that allowed this, has kids settled in the US. This is why non-resident blood relatives should be an automatic disqualifier for any union cabinet ministry or secretary appointment.
