Halloween/October party today! (2:30 p.m. in room B100) Also: if you haven't done so yet, you can fill out the survey (on schoology) if you are interested in going to see the new Harriet Tubman movie with the group. (And pick which day works best for you)

Safe to say BSU had a great time Lincoln University on Monday. For members who couldn't come, we missed you ♡. Fun fact: Founded as The Ashmun Institute, Lincoln University, chartered in 1854, becoming the U.S.' first degree-granting Historically Black College and University (HBCU).

Sixty years ago today, the Greensboro Four stood up to injustice by sitting down at a lunch counter. Our journey is full of such stories; of acts of patriotic protest that challenge this country we love to live up to our highest ideals, however long it takes. #BlackHistoryMonth

Black History Month: The celebration originally began as "Negro History Week" created in 1926 by Carter G. Woodson. It became an offical month-long celebration in 1976.

Descendants of Frederick Douglass deliver and respond to his 4th of July Speech. This struck me: “Pessimism is a tool of white oppression...[People of Color] are slaves to the notion that it will never get better.” youtu.be/NBe5qbnkqoM UM BSU UM for BLM
