Camp day 3 update. The kids have done their morning training with a breath holding and pull focus ending with some social kick. Followed by land training which culminated in a wall sit challenge with some very determined contenders vying for the title of wall sit champion.

Final update of day 3 on camp. They had a movie afternoon then a descending set in the pool. Also had our day 3 awards handed out as well. Looking forward to our last full day tomorrow.

Day 4 camp update. Morning training was a technique session focusing on free and back. Land training was focusing on balance and body position, followed by some fun relays.

The final night at camp, and the kids have done amazingly! They had a race night where several of them managed to do Pb's! We've had our day 4 awards and said a massive thank you to the hard working team managers and coaches that have been on the camp! 1 half day left to go now

Last Saturday evening saw BSG in the C final of the Cotswold League at Easton Leisure Centre against 5 other teams. Being in the outside lane we were the lowest qualified team, however all the swimmers gave their all to which we won the final by 23 points!

What an EPIC weekend of racing at the SW Regional champs down in Plymouth! The youth swimmers bagged a very impressive 50 finals and 21 medals (3🥇, 5 🥈, 13 🥉). What an amazing start to the BSG journey. #hardworkpays #nextgen

1st rnd of Arena Junior League was brilliant! 1st time in a league gala as BSG Bolts ⚡️. Every swimmer worked really hard & put in amazing performances. Well done all. Huge thanks to the Officials, TMs, volunteers & older siblings who came and helped out. Points & ranking coming

The invites for schools to enter the Bristol Schools’ Swimming Association Primary Championships have now gone out. The championships are on Sunday 22nd June at Easton Leisure Centre between 4.30 and 8pm. Ask your school if they are entering! bssaswimming.wixsite.com/bssa

Round 1 Junior League results have now been released and our teams have done amazingly well! Gold team finished up in 17th place overall and Black team in 57th. Well done to all the swimmers who took part. 🏊🏻‍♀️⚡️ Go Bolts! ⚡️🏊🏻‍♂️

We had round 2 of Junior league (doubled up as the Dave Bryant Memorial Gala) and wow did the kids swim well!! Some phenomenal times, great racing and lots of smiles throughout. We will have to wait a couple of weeks to find out the National rankings for the teams.

We had plenty of our younger BSG swimmers competing at the Bristol Schools Primary Swimming Chams on Sunday, representing their Schools. BSG swimmers won 6 of the 8 individual races and broke 4 records on the night. 2 more swimmers broke the previous records in 2nd place!

Recently, we held our inaugural 'Little Club Champs' for 9/u. It was great to see so many swimmers taking part - 64 in total! For many this was their first gala. Well done to all those who raced! Everyone left with a little party bag, certificate and a smile! Go Little Bolts! ⚡
