Onivim 2 keeps getting better and better 🚀. I did my small part last week by adding Hover support (from the VSCode exthost) and editor font variants. Can't wait to get Signature Help in this week!

Why not take 5% of your engineering budget and invest it in the various open source projects you depend on? I'd hazard the returns you'd see over the coming years from this investment would be greater than having spent that same amount on payroll.

I've just published my first blog post! Far from the first one I've written, but this is the first one I've felt confident enough in to release. It's about how I implemented font fallback in revery -- not the juiciest topic but one I had fun writing! zachbayl.in/blog/font-fall…

Zach Baylin has made some incredible contributions this summer! One of these is font-fallback - a complicated aspect of text rendering, but important for CJK font rendering and emojis. This really levels revery up! Thanks for all the hard work Zach! Great write-up 🥳

I was a long time backer of Oni1 and invested in Outrun Labs for the development of Oni2 so I'm thrilled to see it all this coming together. Always been a Vim diehard, but I also want fast/native modern app UX. Getting the best of both here!

Thanks Sean Chen 🦀 for this excellent blog post ! 😍 seanchen1991.github.io/posts/onivim2/ Really appreciate the thoughts on open-source sustainability - great summary of our dual license model & goals.

Quite small change but huge improvement for the Onivim 2 (at least for me 😆) Added Unicode support for inputs. Works on menus, search and SCM! 🎉

Are you using Reason? Are you doing something interesting? Maybe you need a developer? I'm not exactly applying for jobs, but if some job wants to apply to me linkedin.com/in/eduardorfs/

Speaking of #developers and #editors, did you know that the Onivim 2 editor is starting to take shape? When it's done you'll have a wicked-fast, multi-platform #Vim'ish editor that supports VSCode extensions and looks and feels #awesome! onivim.github.io

Our friends at devtalk have a really cool forum for developers and have set up a spot for Onivim - and they'll be giving away a license key every month. Check it out here: onivim.devtalk.com Thanks AstonJ for making this happen!
