(1/2) Yesterday was our biggest concrete pour on the project so far. We were working on half of pier 3 (south side) where the 64 in-ground piles have now been capped with a steel cage (22m x 27m x2m). Concrete began arriving at site at 7am, and we poured 574m3 in total.

As well as building a bridge, we want the Gull Wing to leave a positive legacy. Josh one of our graduate site engineers spoke to engineering students at East Coast college. He gave an update on the project and shared his own career path which included attending East Coast College

Earlier this week we successfully poured the second half of the Pier 3 pile cap. During the next few days the formwork shuttering will gradually be removed to reveal the concrete slab.

A 'pop up' vaccination clinic will be open at Lowestoft Town Football Club in Love Road, Lowestoft tomorrow (Wednesday 15 December) between 9.30am and 4.30pm. The vaccination team will be offering 1st, 2nd and booster vaccinations (for those over 30).
