It’s not always God removing ‘fake friends’ from your life… sometimes it’s your own bad character pushing good people away. Don’t confuse God’s pruning with your own behavior.

Grief is so weird… it doesn’t move in a straight line. One minute I’m fine, then out of nowhere it hits me like a wave. It’s those little reminders, random thoughts, or memories that sneak up and knock the wind out of me.

I’m real strict about my boundaries now because every time I wasn’t, I paid the price. That’s a lesson I refuse to learn twice.
