Today I visited Ealing Foodbank to meet some of the volunteers helping those in difficult circumstances. Food banks shouldn’t exist in 21st century Britain, & my thanks goes to The Trussell Trust who – like churches across @DioceseofLondon – work to ensure nobody faces hardship alone
A huge thank you to the Bishop of London for visiting Ealing Foodbank today.
We're grateful BishopSarah for showing her support for our network of food banks and the incredible work they're doing to help people facing hardship in their communities. 💚

Today I told Boris Johnson that Trussell Trust foodbanks distributed 2.1 million parcels last year and he should do something to end the need for emergency food. I then told the Archbishop of Canterbury that deacons should be paid #gooddayswork
