Record tying heat at Bradley International this afternoon. 98 degrees ties the record, set on June 28th, 1934. 100 degrees is not out of the question this afternoon!

The new track for Elsa that was just issued is very similar to previous tracks. The center will pass very close to Southeastern Connecticut by 9:00 or 10:00 tomorrow morning.

A new update from the Hurricane Center now shows Henri will cross the CT coast tomorrow afternoon instead of the evening. There has been a slight shift to the east in the storm track. Eastern CT will see the strongest wind & surge. Central & Western CT will get the most rain.

We are facing multiple hazards tonight from life threatening flash flooding to the possibility of a tornado. A Tornado Watch is in effect for all of Southern CT until 1:00 am. A high risk for flooding, which is rare!

Hi everyone! On our 5pm show this evening, I announced that I am going to retire at the end of the year, on New Year's Eve. It has been a long run, 43 years in one market, and the longest serving anchor in WFSB history! I still have 6+ weeks left, so I still have work to do!

On our recent trip to Acadia, we checked out the damage at Seawall caused by 2 unprecedented storms. One was in January and the other in February. Sadly, nothing has been done to rebuild this beautiful location. Climate change is a huge topic in Maine, and this is one example.
