During 2021–23 in the WHO African Region region, #COVID19 #vaccine coverage increased from 7% to 32% in the total population, and to 52% among older adults and to 48% among healthcare workers.

As a key outcome of this high-level meeting, engaged countries and organisations propose to standup the “Africa Taskforce for #Mpox Coordination” - as shared during the summary of the meeting’s technical proceedings, delivered by colleague Fiona Braka from WHO African Region
