Our #Pictureoftheweek shows a Flight Officer and Sergeant at Biggin Hill in October 1940. Ghosts of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force are thought to haunt Biggin Hill, with Vincent Square (near the A233) being the scene of such a haunting.

Our Search Room has been wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The finishing touch was this bauble from Preservation Equipment - PEL . It's made from archival box board, acid- and lignin-free!

Managed to scan the Peal Book of the Society of Bromley Youths (dating to 1773). Delighted with the quality and will be making them available in both soft and hard copy. Best thanks to Bromley Historic Collections for their help.
