Thank you to the 50+ Deal Hop Farm members and future members who attended our 6th Season Launch at The Lighthouse - was it only 5yr when all started here 🙂 We have stalls at the Captains Garden 10:30 to 12:30 on Saturday 5th & 19th Feb Plus dates in March TBC
How does one know when #hops are ripe / ready to pick? We're very pleased with our first year growing hops in downtown SW2. The flowers seem to be doing well. It's certainly added colour to this area by our back door. British Hop Association

Brixton Beer Co Ann Bodkin The operation went well, although I'm afraid the cone did not survive! In the view of this hop newbie, the lupilin is a pale green/yellow colour and the pockets/sacks (?) of lupilin don't seem to have filled out yet. Some way to go, but happy to bow to greater experience.
