Today's posts look at the organisations and groups that are working together to try to prevent yellow-legged Asian hornets become established in the UK. The issue is not just one for beekeepers but for everyone.

The public are key to spotting and reporting yellow-legged Asian hornets. The effort of beekeeping associations, the NBU, local authorities, environmental groups and other organisations to raise awareness make a big difference. Thank you 🙂

Today's posts will look at the situation to date in 2024. The wet spring had an impact on many insect species. Currently numbers of yellow-legged Asian hornet nests found are lower than in 2023. Please remain vigilant. Once established it will be extremely difficult to control
