Significant oil/diesel spill on Lambert Road, Indooroopilly outside Indooroopilly State High School. Extremely slippery. If you are riding through here use caution.

Hi Brisbane City. A tree has been uprooted in the weekend storms on the bike path between Kooringal Drive and Mount Ommaney Drive, Jindalee. Resting on the hand rail and hanging just at head height on the corner. Quite dangerous at night. Can it be cleared please?

We are on the bicentennial bikeway handing balloons to riders to protest Star Casino closing the bikeway this afternoon. Riders have to walk their bikes because the casino have set up food vans on the bikeway. People are very happy to take a protest balloon.

A Brisbane City Council intersection upgrade that: ✅️ removed a slip lane ✅️ added a raised pedestrian crossing ✅️ has signalised crossings on all 4 legs ✅️ widened bike lanes ✅️ includes sensor loops in the bike lanes Very impressive! A new standard i hope.

Ugh listening to Cr Charles Strunk talk about Brisbane as a car city and everyone needs parking everywhere is depressing. The removal of parking minimums and application of parking maximums in the city core is good policy. Strunk is out of touch with city planning. #bnepol

It's really important to distinguish safe, legal pedal-assisted e-bikes with the illegal electric dirt bikes that are being referred to here. Even more confusing using a picture of e-scooters.

Hi Brisbane City. Is this tape on the broken fence impeding CityLink Cycleway on the corner of Elizabeth and William Streets "we know but don't care" tape? We're sure it's not. Can you please have this fence made safe ASAP?

Canberra is looking at renewal of one of its busiest bridges. They are closing down some lanes, reducing speed limit to 40kph and keeping a shared path open. We guess some cities are just better at their job than Brisbane. nca.gov.au/environment/pr…

Kathryn, the organiser of the March Across the Story Bridge protest, was just on ABC Brisbane and was incredibly sensible, articulate, measured and stuck to the facts. Far cry from the hysterical statement released by Cr Andrew Wines today.

This, the 2032 Olympic City, is taking residents to court who are simply asking for the right to walk on the major bridge across the Brisbane River. We hope you're watching this behaviour IOC MEDIA. abc.net.au/news/2025-05-2…
