Snapped a photo of Ritu Thamman MD taking a photo of RTHahnMD illustrating #SafeCross with 3D Fusion in the Philips Educational Hub - Great imaging points. @PhilipsNA Brij Maini MD East End Medical @TCT2022
Used the SafeCross™ sheath to perform transseptal puncture (without the need for a needle or sheath exchange) to map and ablate the left atrium endocardially during a Convergent hybrid #AFib #ablation with Erik Beyer Dr. Erik Beyer FloridaMedicalCenter this am.
While ablating epicardially with AtriCure, Inc. EpiSense ablation device, left the atraumatic balloon of the SafeCross sheath inflated in the LA to ensure that the sheath would remain in place. Mapping performed with Abbott Cardiovascular Ensite X, HD Grid and Tacticath SE.

Great #TEER case with TSP facilitated with first #SafeCross use in Virginia! Steerable balloon tipped catheter with RF energy puncture. Safe, simple, speedy and successful. Thank you East End Medical Brij Maini MD for bringing this ingenious device to market! #CardioTwitter
Proud to be the first in the HCA Healthcare system to use the East End Medical SafeCross all-in-one RF puncture and steerable balloon introducer system for #transseptal during an #atrialfibrillation #ablation today at Westside Hospital. #epeeps
Using the East End Medical #SafeCross catheter in lead extraction. Very effective at peeling the 29-year-old leads (from 1995!) off the wall of the SVC. Balloon tip helps me know I'm safe to maneuver. #EPeeps
Cyrus Hadadi, MD East End Medical That’s a really cute idea. I don’t know that there are many adverse events related to the more common use of Agilis or deflectable EP catheter for this, but having something with a pillow on top can’t hurt (and it’s certainly easy to see on your fluoro)
