Poet, performance artist and Dada cofounder Tristan Tazara died OTD in 1963. He lived in Zurich and Paris at the same time as Joyce, was published with him in Transition, and both are characters in Tom Stoppard's play Travesties. He is buried in Montparnasse Cemetery.
