We can't have books or warmth in our office, or job security for 100+ staff, or funding for research centres, or free extensions for PGRs, or support for intl. deaf students...
... but blessed be University of Brighton's generosity for providing FREE WATER amidst these hard times! ❤️

By refusing to fund interpreters for this deaf student, University of Brighton are effectively forcing this student out of education and potentially the country. This is a scandal - they do not care about staff or students & are dangerous Brighton UCU NUS UK UCU

So if they won't get sued for discrimination against students, it will be for not delivering the units students signed up for! If they don't get taken to tribunal for 100% MAB deductions it will be for a corrupt redundancy process. University of Brighton is digging it's own grave!
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from University of Brighton! Have they heard of the Equality Act 2010? Clearly they've cut too deep & even essential services cannot function. This is a sinking ship with deans fleeing left & right. Still time to reverse the cuts!
