Over 200 pupils took part in our Senior Music Showcase. With repertoire from the 90s, there was music from Blur to Coolio, John Williams to Radiohead. his event represented how far the pupils have come this year with their confidence & musicality. Well done to all the performers!

This week we took part in Mental Health Awareness Week. This year the theme is Movement, encouraging us all to move more to help maintain positive mental health like 5 minutes to stretch, taking the stairs instead of the lift, or even doing chores around the house!

Our U9 Boys and Girls took part in their first competitive basketball tournament yesterday. They all showed amazing skills, teamwork and determination throughout and produced some fantastic results. Girls won the gold medal and the boys managed to secure a bronze medal!

Well done to all our pupils who competed in our Spelling Bee - it takes a lot of courage to stand up on stage in front of a crowd! It was an exciting competition where pupils got to showcase their spelling skills. Congrats to Chichester, who were crowned this year's winners!

It was wonderful to see Years 1-4 perform at this year's Rio-themed 'Brighton Carnival Beatz'. The morning began with a Carnival Procession, followed by musical performances including drumming, samba, reggae, ukulele, and singing.

Year 5 and 6 pupils of Brighton College Bangkok and Wellington came together for a unique morning of problem-solving and mathematical challenges. Collaborating in various different ways, they tackled open-ended tasks, which promoted discussion and reasoning skills.

One of our fabulous Year 13s is recognised today. Primmie will be leaving us to join Boston University and we know she will be a huge asset to the college. All of our pupils received multiple offers from a range of prestigious universities.

A massive congratulations to Coach Choi and Panipak on winning a gold medal at the Olympic Games Paris 2024! Coach Choi, leading the taekwondo class at Brighton College Bangkok, has been a true inspiration to us all.

We are delighted to report that following on from the achievements of previous years, it has been another year of great success for Brighton College Bangkok’s leavers.

Congratulations to Alex who’s amazing portfolio and A Level grades, which included two A grades, secured him a place at ArtEZ University of the Arts Arnhem and Tara, who’s three A* grades meant that she was offered a place to study Biosciences at the University of Durham!

T.A. was rewarded with two A* and two A grades, which earned her a place at King’s College London to study Philosophy, Politics & Economics and Pim who secured A grades in Maths , Computer Science & Economics, and will be studying Accounting & Finance at University of Warwick.

We are delighted to introduce the new academic staff members joining us this year and a big welcome back to our returning staff! It has been so lovely to see both new and old faces back on campus.

We celebrate the success of our Year 11 pupils on their excellent IGCSE results. They have performed incredibly well, achieving qualifications that open doors to the next stage of their educational journey.

We are proud of all of our pupils, but these two deserve a special mention for their superstar results, they literally could not have done any better in their IGCSE qualifications, what a great way to start their A Level journey. Well done Freya and Pim!
