This Friday at 2pm, Chantal Spencer (she/her) will be presenting her vital work concerning the burden of change on the oppressed as part of a symposium at brightoncca exploring “Socially engaged and participatory research in art, architecture and design”.
Stills from a collaborative performance initiated by Nicola Singh in response to Loss of Heat by Noski Deville (1994), as part of #TheWorkWeShare .
With Singh on vocals and Deville on tenor saxophone, they play with moods and rhythms, across fragments of sound, song and speech.
Next week: ‘Structures of Community’, a 3-day series of events hosted by brightoncca University of Brighton soad_brighton, including a contribution from Sophie Hope in the ‘Really Sayin’ Somethin’’ Symposium on Friday 20 May.
