A reminder that 2 yrs ago pubs were hosting xmas parties outside in marquees. The sector is still trying to rebuild and needs a sensible tax regime if it's to remain viable. 10% VAT now. The current 20% rate is sucking the life out of the industry. #VATsTooMuch Kate Nicholls OBE
