Last week, a federal judge ruled that the state of South Dakota’s lawsuit against the NCAA (over proposed House settlement damages) should proceed in state court. The NCAA sought to have the case moved to federal jurisdiction.

Last Friday, a football athlete from Rutgers (Jett Elad) was granted a preliminary injunction to play the upcoming season. Argued NCAA's 5-year rule didn't apply to his JC year, similar to Pavia at Vanderbilt.
