10 years ago in a doctoral seminar, I met Jim Shaddix. He was a preaching mentor, friend and wise sage who kept character and careful bible exposition ever before me and many others. Today, he graduated to heaven. A life & ministry marked by integrity and impact!

So thankful that Harvest Church is part of Send Network - Grateful for all God has done over the past decade and praying for Him to move even more in the years to come! Partnering together to plant churches and reach the lost in our city, our state and across North America!

The Gospel is the most important thing people need to hear - today, tomorrow, the next day, every day. Praying that the Gospel is clearly proclaimed in churches all around the world this weekend and that a great multitude of people would respond and be saved!

Pastors- Be faithful where you are, stay when it gets difficult, rely upon the Lord & His Spirit, commit yourself to preaching the Word carefully/boldly while you shepherd people toward Christ-likeness. A lot of the other stuff will fade with time. Be faithful and persevere!

Missed my Harvest Church family today but loved joining with my friend & fellow CU Trustee Nathan Lino & First Baptist Church Forney for worship! Thankful for Nathan’s anointed preaching and leadership!

Just returned home this evening from the SBC Annual Meeting. I'm thankful to partner with so many Kingdom people who cooperate together to send missionaries, plant churches, train pastors, care for others and mobilize tens of thousands of people for Great Commission work!

Glad to be back home Harvest Church this weekend - preaching from Luke 11 about persistence in prayer!

What an unexpected privilege to be invited back to Chicago to preach this weekend at Harvest Bible Chapel! Thankful for our planting church, their leaders and church family. Grateful for the opportunity to say thank you and preach the Word!

I'm so thankful for John MacArthur's ministry & impact in my life. His verse-by-verse exposition of God's Word was precise and delivered with straightforward, Spirit-dependent boldness. He handled the truth with purpose, he shepherded the flock faithfully & he has finished well!

This is so good! May God raise up a whole generation of preachers like John MacArthur and John Piper! And may their affection, appreciation and partnership with each other reflect Piper's words here.

Going to be a great day on the Harvest Church Carmel campus tomorrow - last Sunday of worship services in our original Worship Center (8, 9:30, 11:15am) & then back together again in the evening (6pm) to open & dedicate our new Worship Center with a Night of Worship and Prayer!

Thankful for my friend Thomas White and his strong, convictional leadership at Cedarville University - This book will be an encouragement to believers to stand strong in faith in the midst of a changing world! Can't wait to get my copy!!

Glad to have my boys, Samuel and Nathan, in this class starting at Cedarville! God is going to do great things!

Incredible weekend with our Harvest Church family! 2400 people on campus for worship/fellowship as we opened our new Worship Center! 8 baptisms- such good & clear testimonies. Ministered to 500+ kids in Harvest Kids & another 200+ Sunday night at Harvest Students! God at work!!

Grateful for how God is at work in Speedway! Love that Harvest Church was able to partner w/ Send Network and others for this plant!!
