Using the murder of this BCRCMP officer to forward a misguided agenda of hate is abhorrent. Is this rhetoric what Pivot Legal Society thinks is a productive way to spend their time or solve issues? Absolutely disgusting.

I was an investigator in the 2011 Stanley Cup riots. This is a reminder to those who participate in this type of destruction and violence, and those who might consider in the future, that they will be identified. If you recognize anyone involved, help police & submit a tip.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation crews, City Engineering staff, and everyone who worked through the day responding to downed power lines and clearing trees & debris after high wind last night.

Well done Vancouver Police 👇Let’s us see now if charges recommended by police to Prosecution Services related to that breach are approved & how vigorously they will fight to keep this person in custody now that it is clear he does NOT meet requirements for bail.

Fantastic discussions at the Last Door Rehab today with many amazing people. I would have liked to have spent more time speaking with each & every one of you. Thank you to those who shared with me your very personal stories. All the best on your journeys through treatment & recovery.

Today we honour all those who have fought to defend our country and those who continue to serve to this day. We must never forget their dedication and sacrifice. #CanadaRemembers

I support lawful protest. In fact, for years I helped facilitate it. However, damaging a painting at the Vancouver Art Gallery is not protest - it’s simply a criminal act by obtuse people. Spend your time finding solutions instead of wasting it on whatever stupidity this is.

Thank you Premier David Eby for your bold leadership in supporting Car 87/88, ACT, AOT, and PEER Assisted Care. Today’s announcement is a significant step towards improved outcomes on public safety, mental health, and addictions in Vancouver. #vanpoli

Premier Eby talking today about a public safety plan though collaboration. His comments reinforce City of Vancouver motion for 100 nurses/police is the right direction. Support for Vancouver Police & the Car 87, ACT, AOT, & Peer Assisted Care programs is crucial part of the solution.

A big thank you must go out to Vancouver city staff who have been working around the clock to clear major routes and keep people safe on our roads. Thank you as well to all residents who are doing their part to keep sidewalks clear and safe for pedestrians.

Howard Chow⁩ ⁦VPD Police Board⁩ To those of you who love to video police and voice your opinion about their work, you missed this one: A VPD officer stops his cruiser, clear this man’s sidewalk and than make sure that the man is safely back into his home. Thanks VPD.

Fun fact Friday - It doesn’t just happen on TV or in the movies. Many people get married at City Hall. While working in my office I took a quick break to watch this fantastic couple exchanging vows in council chambers. I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

Promises made, promises kept. Very proud of the whole Park Board team. This decision is a win for accessibility and marks the first step towards a Stanley Park that works for everyone. #vanpoli

Thank you for a wonderful meeting Minister Ravi Kahlon. It’s good to know that our governments are in full alignment on the need for more speed, supply, and synergy on housing. I look forward to a strong and productive relationship as we move forward! #vanpoli #bcpoli

More ignorant rhetoric. The police would happily let another organization deal with these calls. Unfortunately the police would still likely be called to most of the incidents, now by the people who are funded to replace them.

I applaud all the officers out making roads safer for all. You know what might help with convicting these impaired drivers??? Body-worn cameras. Oh, wait… Vancouver council just voted to make that one step closer to reality.

Visiting a few of our BIAs today with a few other city councillors. If you have a sweet tooth, Hype Chocolate at 855 E Hastings is a must stop in Strathcona.

So guy is arrested for assault on police officer is released on bail - no surprise. 2 days later arrested again for random assault on woman in Coal Harbour. Released again. When is the Fed Govt going to get off their ass and make changes. Both Feds and province failing residents.
