Congrats to juniors Jack Ulrich and Jacob Krugerud for qualifying for the state track and field championships today. Ulrich won the section title in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.31, while Krugerud placed second in the 400 meters with a time of 50.54 seconds. #GoWildcats

Congratulations to rising senior Jack Ulrich, who took sixth place in the 800 meters over the weekend at the Class AAA State Track & Field Championships at St. Michael-Albertville High School. He recorded a time of 1:58.28 in the finals!

Bucky Mieras has verbally accepted an offer to become the new Activities Director at Waconia HS. Mieras worked in Orono Schools for 24 years in various roles, including health & physical education teacher (1999-2004), dean of students (2004-08) & activities director (2008-23).
