Such a good night of lovely craft beers and sexy food at Arch Deli in Leytonstone with Beer Boars Michaela is a legendary host & would recommend to anyone in this part of London

After a year break from brewing I finally got my ass in gear for this year's BREW CON London A bad yeast packet means someone else needs to represent the BIPA crew this year but this other entry (won't unblind it with a style right now) is tasting pretty lush

Blackhorse Road looks pretty lush tonight.... Will be even better once the BREW CON London crew get there

Today was a mega brew evening... Prob a silly idea to do a double mash Imperial stout on the hottest day of the year so far but lots of advanced planning meant it went well and so far, so good. Will look forward to the winter when it might be ready to consume haha

Really proud of this Antipodean Cold IPA I've done (exclusively NZ and Aus hops... Avoiding any Galaxy or Nelson though), just a shame about the terrible head retention... But pretty sure I know the problem so will evolve it as us brewers do!

Whoever decided to call a hop strain Anchovy is an idiot and needs fired into the sun. No matter how good a hop it is it's a stupid stupid name that'll only put people off. This beer is a lovely drop though
