You've probably heard of location and pitching models, but what exactly is the execution model Driveline uses? It all starts with better contextualizing command🧵⬇️

What do you notice about these All-Star pitchers? They all throw 🔥 ASG average fastball: 96.5 MPH Regular season: 94.1 MPH It pays to throw hard

Longtime trainee and Australian native 🇦🇺 Matt Beattie wrapping up another Summer (Winter) of training Driveline Baseball. Topped 94.6 mph in his final Live AB session—his hardest indoor velo in years. Very excited for what’s ahead.

If your sweeper/slider drops too much—more like a slurve—widen the gap between your index & middle fingers. Almost a 2-seam grip, but throw it like a curveball. Middle finger pulls down, index adds friction to kill topspin, giving relative positive V-break while keeping sweep.

Ki Jun Kim of the Lotte Giants topped 87.8 in his baseline assessment on August 4th. The other day he was up to 93. Sometimes, a few short weeks of optimal workload management and training periodization can make a huge difference. Driveline Baseball

Congratulations to Trent Buchanan on being promoted to High-A 👏 Swipe for a good look at his pro-day outing which landed him a spot within the Atlanta Braves organization back in January!

This Pitcher was not getting a lot of negative vert on his curveball So, what did we do? Added a spike with the index finger Result: 5 more inches of negative vert on each pitch Finger pressure can play a huge role in pitch shape.
